Traveling across the region by train, you’ll visit the world-renowned markets of Salzburg, Nuremberg and Munich, as well as discover Chiemsee with its unique Christmas market on the famous Fraueninsel (island of our lady)
Your six-night stay in 3*/4* hotels¹, includes a hearty breakfast each morning as well as all transport (train, taxi, boat)²
Each evening a dinner reservation will be made, however this is optional as it is not included in the package.
Spaces are limited to 10 people, ensuring you are well looked after during your time here.

Itinerary: No itinerary planned for today, as arrival day.

Munich-Prien am Chiemsee-Fraueninsel-(Herreninsel)-Prien am Chiemsee
Itinerary: Regional train from Munich Central Station to Prien (1 hour), plus a short taxi to the hotel, where we drop off our luggage and take the Fraueninsel and its Christmas market. Thereafter, the is the option to go on to Herreninsel to see King Ludwig’s Palace, before we return to the hotel.

Prien am Chiemsee-Salzburg-Prien am Chiemsee
Itinerary: Taxi to station, then regional train from Prien to Salzburg (1 hour), taxi to Salzburg old town, historical walking tour of the city and Christmas market. Taxi/train/taxi back to hotel.

Prien am Chiemsee-Munich
Itinerary: Taxi to station, regional train from Prien to Munich (1 hour), check in to hotel, walking tour of Munich old town and enjoy centrally located Christmas markets.

Itinerary: Taking in some of Munich’s lesser-known Christmas markets, we will also visit Tollwood (on the site of the Oktoberfest) and a Christmas tram ride through the city.

Munich-Nuremberg
Itinerary: Regional train to Nuremberg, drop off luggage at hotel, old town walking tour, concluding at one of the most famous Christmas markets in the world.

Nuremberg-Munich/MUC
Itinerary: Regional train to Munich or Munich airport, as the tour ends after breakfast
